Complaints

Something went wrong? Tell us.

If you have a problem with a listing, an agent, a payment or your personal data, this page explains how to raise it and what to include. MeroBhumi connects people, but the property deal is between the buyer and the seller.

1.How to raise a complaint

Email [email protected], call +977 970-5396224, or message us on WhatsApp. You can also use the form on our contact page. Writing to us by email leaves a record for both sides, so it is the best route for anything involving money or documents.

2.What to send

The more of this you include, the faster we can look into it:

  • your name and the email address or phone number on your MeroBhumi account;
  • the link or code of the listing, agent profile or demand you are complaining about;
  • what happened, when it happened, and what you would like us to do;
  • screenshots, messages or documents that show it;
  • for a payment, the payment reference, amount and date (see the Refund Policy).

3.A listing

If a listing looks false, misleading, duplicated, already sold or rented, or posted without the owner's permission, tell us which listing and why. We may ask the poster for more information and may edit, unpublish or remove the listing under our Listing Policy.

4.An agent or another user

If an agent or another user has behaved badly, such as asking for payment for a property they cannot sell or rent, harassing you, or posting fake reviews, send us the details. We may warn, suspend or close an account that breaks our acceptable use rules. Agents on MeroBhumi are independent and do not act for MeroBhumi.

5.A payment

If you were charged but a boost or registration was not applied, or you were charged twice, follow the steps in the Refund Policy. If you are unhappy with how that request was handled, raise it here.

6.Your personal data

For a concern about how your information is collected, used or shared, or to ask us to correct or delete it, email [email protected] and mention your privacy concern. Our Privacy Policy explains what we hold and why.

7.Deals are between buyer and seller

MeroBhumi is not a party to any property transaction. Any agreement, token money (bayana), registration or handover is between the buyer or tenant and the owner or agent. We can look into what happened on our platform and act on our own rules, but we cannot settle a dispute about a deal, recover money paid directly to a seller or agent, or give legal advice.

For a dispute over a deal or a document, speak to a lawyer and the relevant government office. If a dispute with MeroBhumi itself cannot be resolved, our Terms of Service say that the courts of Rupandehi district, Nepal, have jurisdiction.
